Adriana
Notarfrancesco, MD is an Adult and Child Psychiatrist in private practice on the Upper East Side of New York City. She provides
therapy and medication management, where applicable, for a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety disorders, depression,
bipolar disorder, ADHD, and postpartum depression. Her hours are flexible and she will do all she can to accomodate client
needs. Dr. Notarfrancesco does not accept Insurance. All payments are due at time of service. BIO
Adriana Notarfrancesco, M.D. is board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. Dr. Notarfrancesco
is an Assistant Attending in Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University and an Instructor in Psychiatry at New York State
Psychiatric Institute. She completed her psychoanalytic training in 2007 graduating from the Columbia College of Physicians
and Surgeons Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. She was Director of the Childen’s Day Unit, an intensive inpatient
program at New York State Psychiatric Institute from 1997-1999. She entered private practice in child, adolescent and adult
psychiatry in 1997. She completed her fellowship in Child Psychiatry in 1997 at New York Presbyterian Hospital-New York State
Psychiatric Institute. During her child psychiatry fellowship, she was awarded the Sachar Award for Clinical Excellence and
was Chief Resident of Consultation-Liasion Psychiatry. Dr. Notarfrancesco completed her residency in adult psychiatry in 1996
at New York Presbyterian Hospital-New York State Psychiatric Institute. During residency, she received the Residency Leadership
Award by The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Notarfrancesco completed her pediatric internship in
1993 at New York Presbyterian Hospital-New York State Psychiatric Institute. She graduated from New York Medical College in
1992. In medical school, she was awarded the Rock Sleyster Memorial Scholarship by the American Psychiatric Association. Dr.
Notarfrancesco graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in 1985, summa cum laude.
